AirCastPro 3 Troubleshooting Guide: Unable to Print
If you are unable to print from your AirCastPro 3, follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Step 1: Connect to AirCastPro

Make sure your iPad is connected to the AirCastPro hotspot

Open a web browser and go to:
Step 2: Test the Printer Connection

Ensure your printer is powered on and connected

From the AirCastPro General Settings page:

Go to Menu > Printers > Test Print

If the test print is successful:
Your printer and AirCastPro are working correctly. Proceed to Step 4.
If the test print fails:
Continue to Step 3.
Step 3: Reset Printer Connection

From the AirCastPro General Settings page:

Go to Menu > Printer Reset

Wait up to 30 seconds for AirCastPro to detect and add the printer
If the printer is not detected:

Step 4: Restart the iPad
If the test print worked but you still cannot print from your app:

Restart your iPad:

Go to Settings > General > Shutdown
-

Step 5: Test Printing from Your App

After restarting, verify you are still connected to the AirCastPro hotspot
-
Try printing again from your photo booth app
-
It may help to reselect or reset your printer within your app’s settings
If printing still fails:

Appendix A: Printer Not Detected
If your printer is not detected after a reset:

Power cycle AirCastPro:
-
Unplug the unit
-
Wait 10 seconds
-
Plug it back in
-
Wait 1 minute
-

Perform Menu > Printer Reset again
If the printer is still not detected:
-
Check for printer errors (paper, ribbon, jams, etc.)

Try a different USB cable
-
Try a different USB port on AirCastPro
Note: Faulty USB cables are a common cause of connection issues.
Appendix B: AirPrint / App Troubleshooting
To determine if the issue is app-related:

Open the Camera app on your iPad
-
Take a photo
-
Tap the photo preview
-
Tap the Share icon
-
Select Print
-
Choose your printer and print
Results:
If the photo prints successfully:

The issue is with your photo booth app
-
Open your app and reselect the printer in its settings
If the photo does NOT print or no printer is available:
-
Confirm you are connected to the AirCastPro hotspot
-
If connected and still unable to print, contact support
