My Cut or Alignment Is Off When Printing 2x6 Strips

If your 2x6 photo booth strips are not cutting correctly, are slightly off-center, or the print alignment does not match your template, the adjustment should be made in your photo booth app, not through AirCastPro.

AirCastPro sends the print job to your printer, but the layout, strip position, margins, and alignment are controlled by the photo booth software or app you are printing from.

If Alignment Issues Continue

Most 2x6 strip alignment issues are corrected in your photo booth app, not through AirCastPro. If you continue to have issues after checking your app’s print size, template, margins, and alignment settings, you can perform a printer reset from AirCastPro before testing again.

A printer reset is helpful if printer configuration changes were made from the AirCastPro General Settings page. After the reset, return to your photo booth app to make any needed alignment or cut adjustments.

How to Perform a Printer Reset in AirCastPro 3

  1. Connect your device to AirCastPro.
  2. Open the AirCastPro General Settings page.
  3. Select Menu.
  4. Select Printer Settings.
  5. Select Printer Reset.
  6. Allow the reset process to complete.
  7. After the reset is complete, send a test print or try printing your 2x6 strip again.

Adjusting 2x6 Alignment

After performing the printer reset, open your photo booth app and adjust the 2x6 strip layout, margins, or alignment settings inside the app.
