Adding an AirCastPro Printer in Windows 11

Workaround for Printing with AirCastPro 3 on Windows 11

Some Windows 11 systems may experience printing issues when using AirCastPro 3. The following workaround has resolved the issue in most cases.

Steps

1. Open the AirCastPro web interface.
2. Go to General Settings.
3. Select your printer and click Edit.
4. Click Advanced.
5. Check the option Bypass HEIPr Engine.
6. Click Save.

Re-add the Printer in Windows 11

After saving the setting, remove any previously added AirCastPro 3 printers:

1. Open Windows Settings.
2. Go to Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
3. Remove any existing AirCastPro 3 printers.
4. Click Add device and re-add the printer.

Once the printer is reinstalled, printing through AirCastPro 3 on Windows 11 should function normally.
